I have been on birth control pills for years, I have never missed on either.

I am not suppose to start my period for another week (after I am done with my pack).

Tonight my husband and I had sex, not rough sex, and I bled red blood.

What would cause this? Could it be break through bleeding?

I have no cramping or anything like that.

It is not a STD and I don't think I am pregnant.

Its not heavy bleeding, its light.

What do you think? Go see a doctor?

It is not a STD. My husband and I have been each others ONLY partners, and we have never cheated. It is impossible.

Also, for those smart a$ses: There are different colors of blood/discharge: red, brown, even black. So get a clue. Your lame comments are not helpful.

Yes, see your GYN. Do you stop bleeding after the sex is over? Does the bleeding start during sex? You could have HPV without ever knowing it. HPV are like warts inside that can go unnotced. If by chance you have a few internal warts, during intercourse the penis will rub on the warts causing friction which equals bleeding. The red blood color also can mean it's close to the surface ie warts, rubbing you raw. Dark red would indicate a more of an old bleed. Get checked up

you probably did no longer point out extremely while and how long this bleeding has been persevering with. if that's in user-friendly terms the 1st week of the commencing up of intercourse it heavily isn't mandatory to circulate to a doctor. this occurs contained on the topic of each youthful female. no count if that's for greater suitable than a week, then somewhat a visit is mandatory in spite of in case you stumble on it embarrassing. on the subject of his time, you somewhat pay for it.

Go see a doctor-may have ruptured a vein and it is possible to slowly bleed to death Whenever your body does something its not supposed to do the smartest and the safest thing is to have a Doctor look at it- go to Emergency for you don't want to go to sleep and the rupture get worse and you not know it. It may be nothing but better safe than sorry.

Sounds like spotting in between periods, it happens to some women who are in the pill though is rare. I don't think it has nothing to do with sex. Anyway, go to your GYN doctor ASAP just to be on the safe side.

normally there should not be vaginal bleeding after coitus , if there is no evident trauma . Yes , I think is better for you to see your GP`s opinion ,specially if it is recurrent .I hope for you the best .

You may think its not an STD.. cos maybe you already got tested? Get tested again. You could just be tight, too.
