one of my friends (who is a guy) never takes me seriously, he's always jokingly calling me a whore, even though i'm not... he just thinks im this stupid superficial girl, i dont wanna talk to him about it coz he never gets anything through his head, and we will just end up fighting and i will lose a friend, and i really cant take that right now... and he's all in all a good person, he just doesnt realize it when he's annoying me, but its so freaking annoying.

Sorry but unless he is the dumb one, he gets that he is annoying you. He just either doesn't care that he is annoying you, he is doing it on purpose or he really thinks you are stupid and superficial. I don't really think that there is too much of a friend there to lose, so talk to him about it, if he gets pissy and walks then all the better your problem with him is gone. If he doesn't get pissy then things might change, but if you do nothing then you are positive that nothing will ever change. Your choice, speak and get a result, either positive or negative or say nothing and remain annoyed.

You have very low self-esteem and need to get a grip on life. No guy friend is worth the verbal abuse. Tell him ASAP to take a hike. He'll take the hint and shape up. Do you really want a loser for a friend? You're worth more than that. Find a real friend.

I would tell him nicely that you don't like it when he calls you names. Maybe to him it's funny and he hasn't realized how you feel about it 'cause you haven't said anything to him. Obviously he is basically a good friend to you because you are afraid to lose the friendship. Just make sure you sit him down and tell him nicely how you have been feeling all of this time and that you would like for him to stop. Make sure you also let him know that you are still his friend and that you don't want him to feel bad.

You have to get over yourself and tell him that he is annoying you. If he gets pissed off, then do you really want him as a friend anyway? Someone who annoys you?

Little boys chase little girls around the play ground when they like them.. Its the same thing. He is acting stupid towards you because he doesn't know how to act around you.

he's immature. i know this guy, and his only comeback is "you're gay". he says it to EVERYONE all the time.
