Actually I think they tell one of the staff on the sidelines. The staff escorts them to the locker room (under the gist of an injury), they pee and trot back on the field cured!

They're not as tight as you think. It's the material that makes them look so tight. Plus, usually they won't have to "pee" during games- they sweat so much, there's usually nothing left to "pee".

I'm a player and we drink tons during games and practices, usually we are working so hard we don't have to go pee. But in that case I guess they would just go. Lol

Actually many will just go in their pants. With all the dirt, blood and sweat on their pants no one can tell. But usually they do sweat off their liquid and won't have to go.
