is there any cheap and easy halloween costumes for kids?

Get a paper grocery bag, Cut some strips and make shoulder straps out of them, cut the bottom of the bag out ,and then fill the bag (after you size it to the child) with empty food boxes and consumer goods, also include a long receipt hanging from the front. Cheap, different and very easy to do.

Yep, I always used bin liners for my little ones, just poked head and arms through them and a quick spray of flourescent paint here and there, the paint runs a bit but adds to effect, the kids wear coats underneath if trick an treating so keep warm, get the kids to make their own hats it's much more fun.

my brother went as a Lego man once! we used mason jar lids and glued them onto boxes. Shoe boxes for the feet and a card board sign that slipped over the head. He wore a sweat suit underneath. We spray painted all the boxes a different color. It was a cool costume.

The sheet as ghost costume is probably the cheapest and easiest.

Just be sure they don't look like little Klansmen. I believe this happened to Cartman, once, on "South Park".

I saw an Old Navy advertisement with really adorable children's Halloween costumes! I think they were around $10/costume.

Get an old sheet from somewhere (like an opportunity shop etc) and cut a couple of eyeholes: presto! A ghost!
