Well, hun i think that you are referring to "The Morning After Pill".I am unsure if you need a prescription for them or not, however i believe that you can get them over the counter to be honest.
Now having said that,i think that you shouldnt take it.I think you should take responsibility. You sound as if you were nowhere near ready to have sex.If you just happen to take it,consult an obgyn and ask them to place you on birth control. If you do get placed on birth control pills then you need to understand that it is no 100% effective and it doesnt prevent the contraction of std's so you need another form of protection available.Even then, you are not protected 100% from pregnancy, the only full proof way to prevent pregnancy is to not have sex at all. So,please think about sex before you do it again and if you are willing to take those risks.I would also urge you to speak with your parent(s).As hard as that may seem, they do understand alot more than teens realise. If you speak to your parent(s) now,it will open up a door of communication. That means later in your teen years when you need someone to talk to,about ANYTHING at all they will be there.Speak to your parents,be responsible, protect yourself, never allow anyone to force you,and good luck.

The birth control pill is meant to be taken regularly *before* you have sex. If you've already had sex, you are looking for emergency contraception, also known as EC or the morning after pill or Plan B. It has to be taken within 72 hours of unproteced sex, so contact Planned Parenthood right away for information on how to get it.

Since you're the one taking them you should know their name. FYI there is NO birth control method on the market that is 100% effective. Having unprotected sex and being on the pill isn't a guarantee you won't get pregnant. The only 100% effective way to avoid getting pregnant is to not have sex.
