you arent allo0wed to eat koala at all. and to kill a kangaroo is also against the law( big fine..) you can buy kangaroo steak at the shops that has been breed for slaughter however the aboriginals are allowed to hunt emu and other animals as it is part of there culture. dingos are very dangerous... like a fox and a dog.. they do attack people and they did run off with azaria( the baby) if you have a look at Fraser Island(google it) there are a lot off dingos there and they attack people all the time.Kangaroo is not a game animal! they are a pest to farmers!

Sadly, a dingo did steal a baby from Uluru which is in central Australia. That was a one off, very sad story.
People here do eat our national animals sadly, emus and kandaroos, not koalas.
Am vegetarian myself and Steve wouldn't eat the animals he fought so hard to protect.

I think the Aussies eat kangaroo the way we eat deer over here in the USA. It's their local game animal, while deer is ours.

Would I eat a kangaroo? Sure. Why not. Marinate the 'roo steaks till tender and toss them on the grill and cook them till well done. A baked potato, nice green salad, and a cold beverage on the side. Cheese cake for desert with black coffee.

I doubt if he did, because he respected animals very much. Yes, people do eat those kinds of animals. Yes, dingos have been known to run off with people's babies, but it is rare.
