I was trying to get a serial number for my microsoft word cd,which case I had lost.
I went to a site called astalavista.com
and looked for one,I ended up d-loading a cd-key which was filled with malicious programs,I already got rid of one of it's components,but im still getting bad Spam....the current processes are named:pmsngr.exe and pmmon.exe
I had something like isamonitor.exe previously but I managed to rid my computer of it,now I can't kill the process and my software isn't picking this up...What Can I do delete this?????....thanks :D

Ok,I guess I should have added this,I have used Spybot,ad-aware,symantec anti-virus and ewido security,only symantec was able to detect 3 worms which i deleted....does anyone know the name of this virus and what i can do??..I think it has something to do with codec.

Go here and run the online scan and see what it finds. Allow it to remove all it finds.

If you value your privacy and your investment in your computer, please stay out of those crack houses.
The mess you have on your pc is a prime example of the damage that can/will be done when you enter a crack house.
Besides having trojans, viruses, adware, malware, they will install rogue dialers which can cost you in the thousands of dollars on your telephone bill if you use dialup. (ADSL is less of a risk).
Download from: www.superantispyware.com It is excellent technology an is free. Will scan your registry, memory, files, folders, and favorites. Scans 140,000 on my pc as I have alot of files.
Or go to www.lavasoft.com and download their free Ad-aware Personal Se.
One more site, the program is not free. www.ewido.net will become free after thirty days and you don't purchase they will only remove the guard in the tray and the auto updates that you get every hour on the hour. You only will have to download manual and the guard is not important. (Likewise scans 140,000 in my pc). Ewido AntiSpyware
Start with the www.superantispyware.com --and see if that removes the malware.
If you download all three and use them there is no conflict. Easier to try the first free one.

Don't know what you are using to detect these things but I suggest you use Ad-Aware, Spybot Search & Destroy, and Windows Defender. They are all free. Just be careful finding the Ad-Aware product. The maker is Lavasoft.

hi, perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus and protect your PC. but you need to pay for the software
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

I suggest you google spybot search and destroy. Its a free program and will rid of any of your spyware or adware needs.
