It's clothing - men and women can wear anything they want. The only things I know of that are gender specific are the bra and the jock strap. If you enjoy pantyhose, so what? Many men do.

I used to work in a hosiery store and some men would wear pantyhose for warmth and support while hunting. Several came in with friends and everyone seemed to be fine with it other than a little gentle ribbing. I think most men would object less to wearing the hose than they would to shaving their legs and you have to admit pantyhose on hairy legs just aren't attractive on anyone.

Yes! Not only should it be acceptable, but I insist they wear them with high heels to work every day.
I'd be more than happy to be able to wear pants and comfortable shoes to my next business meeting.
It should be a law....let the men suffer through runs in pantyhose and freezing cold legs in winter, and aching feet at 6pm, after working for 9 hours.
