I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!
Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:
1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.
There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

The natural oils in your hair can affect the amount of acne you have in a negative way. Try keeping your hair away from your face for a week or so, and you will most likely see a positive difference. Good luck.

Your bangs can add to your skin oil. That may worsen your acne.
1. Don't try to squeeze out blackheads or whiteheads, as that may lead to further infection. Picking up acne at second stage may lead to scarring. your doctor will remove the comedones with sterile instruments if it is required.
2. Some people believe that excessive sweat or dirt can cause acne. In blackheads what we see as black is not dirt, but oxidized sebum. Excessive cleaning of skin will not cure acne, but may aggravate the condition. Gently clean your face twice a day with mild soap or cleansers formulated to care for acne and warm water. Pat dry, don't rub.
3. Noncomedogenic products are certified to not cause or aggravate acne. Use noncomedogenic cosmetics and skin care products.
4. Most of the acne treatments make the skin sensitive to sun. Talk to your doctor about that and protect yourself with sunscreen whenever you go out. Also adopt other methods to protect your skin from sun. Avoid tanning beds and lamps.
5. Use cosmetic treatments such as facials, only after consulting your doctor. Facials may aggravate your acne.
6. Avoid touching acne spots with your hands. It may worsen the condition. You should also avoid any hair coming on the forehead.
7. Use of more than prescribed dose of medication may put you in trouble. In your hurry to get rid of acne faster, do not overuse any medication.
8. Keep your face free of makeup as much as possible. Let the skin breathe fresh air. Also avoid using any oil or oil-rich product for your hair. Use oil-free hair care products after consulting your doctor.

It might if you use a lot of styling products. Anything that clogs the pores can worsen acne. Don't use a lot of gel or mousse or anything that can rub off on your face, and use an antibacterial soap once per day. That should help.

It depends if there is a lot of grease in your hair. You could try Proactiv, it's wonderful. If you think it may be your hair, try wearing your hair off your face for two weeks and you'll know.
