It is a very tough job. Once you are in debt everything is magnified twice over. But the trick is to stay tight in such situations because, money problems are temporary...sometimes they may stretch for atleast 6 months sometimes for years! If you have limited income, try a temporary new source of income. Like taking tuition's. If you have a computer at home, and know typing, take some data entry work, and so on....There are many offices who want people to work for just 4 to 5 hours or on weekends only.
Take stock of your expenses and divide them into very urgent and not so urgent expenses (things that you spend on and can go without - and make a realistic division!) Then take your income and see how you can stretch it! Somehow one learns how to meet tough times! You will survive this! And never forget to pray....Ask God to help you make the right decision always!
