How do you make those rattlesnake eggs practical gags?

I have the brown envelope, paper clip, and rubber band. I don't know what to do next, i.e, how to assemble, how to wind up, etc.?

you attach the rubber band to the paper clip like you would making a slip knot for a balloon around a kids wrist.....then you twist the rubber band .tight!.... and carefully place in the envelope ...when they open it it rattles
