Look for data entry...
everyone wants a fun job with computers...so you will have to take what you can get and work your way up.
I would get a job at a newspaper co. and become a journalist.
Or get a job at a university and employees get free or cheap education. vgl

In the not-so-distant past, general working knowledge of computers was a highly sought-after skill. But since computers have become an integral pert of daily life, general computer knowledge is seen as desireable as the ability to operate a garbage disposal. I'm really good with computers, myself. I can operate the entire MS Office suite at an advanced level and troubleshoot minor to moderate difficulties with Windows XP operating system without having to call tech support. That qualifies me to work as a receptionist for $8 an hour.
You need a LOT more than "good with computers" to make an impression in the technology field these days. The bottom rung of the tech ladder would require some basic VB skills. If you have done something other than figure out cheat codes for comp games, slap it on a resume and see what it gets you.

Any job where you are sitting at a desk will involve a computer. If you want a "tech" job you are better off doing something in the engineering field. You will need a degree from a good college, and if you havent taken calculus in high school you will have to work a little harder to get good grades in the college tech and math courses.

I got into the field because of: Serious $$$, freedom, challenge, security, tax deduction benefits, working with positive people and the numerous fringe benefits.

You'll need a degree... then you'll need a few years experience. Unless of course you're talking data entry, or call support (which it mostly being shipped over to India)
Even with the degree and experience... good luck. A+ Certification is also a plus when applying for a position.
