I've been dying my naturally brown hair red for awhile now
(best move I could have ever made - it makes me looks so much better, lol), & am rethinking my make-up colors because of it. I have fair skin with pink undertones, along with bright green eyes. I love Bare Minerals make-up - I use either purple or peach eyeshadows, and a pink cheek. I'm trying out their lipstick/gloss line now, but I'm not sure whats shades of liptick would look best with my hair/complexion and with fall/winter coming up. Should I go with Nudes (brownish/copper), Pale Pinks, Roses (dark pink), Apricots (coral/pink) or Mauves (pink/purple). Berrys and Reds look horrible, so I'm not even going there. I want to look somewhat sophistacted, but not made-up - the more natural, the better. I'm 19, if that matters - so trust me, I'm old enough to be using it, lol. Thanks for the help!

anything but mauves and reds look great on redheads with pinkundertones. i suggest nudes and roses for you, they look great on almost everybody.

Rust color on the reds works great for redheads, the nudes would be good. Have you tried using 'warmth' for an eyeshadow? It makes green eyes look GREEN! not just green. Congrats on choosing BE - finest makeup out there (no I don't sell it, just VERY enthusiastic!). I have a brick-colored lipstick that looks just smashing, and I'm pinky, and a natural (dark) redhead.

I, in my view, would not propose a crimson shade in any respect because it may ok wash you out. If I have been you, i might opt for greater sheer hues that are greater interior the pinks relatives. additionally, gloss might in all probability be right for you than an opaque tube of lipstick, except you stumble on a lipstick that's sheer adequate. in spite of if, in case you're ineffective set on the crimson lipstick, I wouldnt choose for something too formidable, because it may compete with the colour of your hair that's hardly a stable seem. you ought to in all probability choose for a lighter, greater sheer crimson shade that advance your constructive components (hair secure) fairly than compete with them.

I love the Clinique lip gloss color "sunshine", it is a nude peachy color. I think that would look gorgeous!

Go for a nice, earthy color for your lips like a light brown, or clay.
