Yes, Pierre does sing those lyrics because simply enough, it is the lyrics of that old 60's song! They didn't write this one: G. Bonner and A. Gordon did. The Turtles recorded it and it was a smash hit. Simple Plan recorded it for the motion picture Scooby Doo.
