When you are writing a paper in mla format, do you put a space between your centered title and the beginning of your essay (i mean actually hitting the space bar, not just the double spaced thing) or do you leave it?

the space between the title and beginning sentence should be as much as the spacing for the rest of the essay, so doublespaced and thats it, no extra ones.

You would put two spaces with the enter key.
