We need to go over some basic electricity concerning AC adapters that converts to DC voltage. First, that is what any AC adapter does. It converts alternating current, (AC) to direct current, (DC). Your adapter takes 110 + or - 10 volts AC and converts it to 75 volts DC for a lap top. Now for the harder part. Not only is a perfect voltage match necessary for a lap top so must the current be a match. The voltage and current both must match especially for a complicated component as a lap top. You must, and I stress must know what voltage your lap top takes along with current requirements. In my humble opinion I would never use a universal adapter on a lap top. The demands for voltage and current accuracy is paramount or you could permanently damage your lap top computer. Please consider going to the company that makes your computer on the net and buy the correct adapter that goes with your lap top or your computer may fry.
