I saw a donkey attack a newborn calf. I tried to help the calf, but got trambled in the process. I heard the calf's neck break. I am an animal lover, so I had a tough time dealing with that. I had a lot of nightmares.

I also work with children and I have witnessed many incidents of physical abuse that is just heart wrenching.

Whilst a copper in the Army I attended a crash in North Yorkshire, England, and saw a car which had gone too fast over a humped back bridge.

It landed under a truck broken down with 3 tractors on it's trailer.

Mum & Dad decapitated, son & daughter crushed.

No survivors.

A river of blood and oil.

I have not gone over a bridge fast for 20 years, and never will.

for me it has to be the live broadcast of the twin towers coming down in New York. I had just turned the tv at the moment the first plane hit and at first I thought I was seeing a disaster movie but then realisation dawned and I felt sick and appalled at what I was seeing it's something I will never forget and I am sure the whole world will never forget.

I was driving up the road once and a Jimmy 4x4 went off the road into the median, came back on the road, went off on the other side and when they pulled back on the road it rolled 5 or 6 times. I was the car behind it. Luckily I was far enough away from it I was able to get stopped before hitting it or getting hit by flying debris. And seeing my ex-husband's grandmother die.

during the aftermath of the typhoon back in 1994, when my grandmother passed away, we went back to my mom's home town there is one whale from somewhere, i guess its from the neighboring taiwan that were stranded due to low tide, the whale died cause there is no equipment and no help to assist the poor fellow to go to the deep water, my brother took the video tape and i know for sure, the whale have number by the tail......

or back in my mom's province, when one of our teacher/relative were poison while drinking and the autopsy performed in the municipal hall, that was a horrifying sight when the coroner is removing body parts, identifying each, weighing and labeling for investigation. i was scared to death and i didn't have good sleep for the rest of the week...

i wish i should have witness the little eruption of the mayon volcano, we lived across the ocean and my brother loved the view, he said it was fantastic at night due to the red lava flowing while its dark, the view is spectacular.....

i guess my mom province is famous for such scenario...

I happened to be watching tv during the attack on the world trade towers in New York city on Sept 11.

I don't know if there is anything worse to witness.

Watching a guy get beaten to death (by 6 big brave bastards, using pool cues while hes lying on the ground) 3 feet in front of me and not being able to do anything as they would have turned on me as well. The reason he died, he thought it was his coin on a pool table for the next game, it was, but that didn't matter! The pack of cowards who did it ..why'd they do it...fun

I think it must be the tramp i tripped over in Marseille when i was 13. He was asleep under some cardboard and bags. Till then i had never seen a homeless person. Nothing has made an impact on my psyche like that since.
