It's a bit daft to begin or end an era when a decade begins. My favourite music periods were 1993-1995 (new music styles appearing such as grunge, and dance evolving) and 1998-2002 (triphop at its peak). From 2005 onwards good music has returned with the likes of Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs et al, but I could never say I loved 90's music.. I hated most of it, and the same goes for any decade.
