I once dated a girl who was the same height and weight. She was definitely not fat. If you don't like the way you look, think about toning your body toward muscle. But I think you'd be happier not questioning your looks so much. It's much more interesting to be looking around you than to imagine how you might look to someone else.

I believed that you feel this way because of the fashion and entertainment industry. Many celebrities are considered overweight if the slightest amount of fat appears. In my opinion you do not need to lose weight. For a person who is 5'8 you must be between 140 and 145. That is healthy. So for someone who is 5'10, 150 lbs is a good weight. However, you may have a little more fat in some places you may not want such as ur stomach. The best way to get rid of that is to increase your muscles there, do situps or any type of crunces. Ab workouts will decrease the fat in your stomach.

No sweety at 5' 10 & 130lbs. YOU ARE NOT FAT!
Self body image is a tricky thing. I recently found some old pictures of myself, & at the time they were taken I considered myself to be fat. I look at them now, & ask myself how could I have ever thought that I was fat. Today I really am overweight.
There really IS something going on & it's not about your weight.
Stop looking at the scales & look inside yourself. You're NOT crazy either, but don't be ashamed to ask for help from a councellor, or a support group.
Cheers.

you aren't fat...i know this because, i am 5'8 and 130 pounds...and i know im not fat...but i also want to lose weight...so for you who is much taller, 130 is very skinny.
i know exactly what it's like in your head to think you're grose and fat when really you are normal. i obsess about it constantly, and i know it's not about actually being fat because when i was 104 pounds in highschool i still thought i was fat then!! now i wish for that body again!! its psyychological, i have a problem, lots of girls do, so don't feel bad about it, i think deep inside you know you aren't fat but losing weight will make you feel more powerful, in control, hotter...when in reality thats not true. the true test is this. some girls look normal being tiny because they are short and built that way. if you begin to have bones sticking out, you will look not healthy and that will be an indication that you have lost wayyy too much weight. you wanna be skinny but also sexy...bony isn't sexy. have you ever seen ribs sticking out of a fitness model?? nope. just the runway ones, and they look sickly and grose.

The weight you are is about as low as you can go without being underweight. So losing weight would be extremely unnecessary, unhealthy and to be honest, extrmely worrying. Have you spoken to anyone about how you feel about your body. Do you obess about how you look a lot or stare in the mirror too much? You may have a distorted perception of how you really look, which can lead to all kinds of problems if you don't address your issues early on. If you want to talk, feel free to email me. Take care : )

No way!!!! My sister is 5ft4 and weighs that, and she wears a size 9!!!! Go by how comfortable you feel at whatever size you are, or want to be. Don't listen to other people. I even think 150 is a bit low. It really depends on your build, body fat percentage, etc. Those height weight charts are so far off!!! They say I am considered obese when my body fat percentage is in normal range. Listen to yourself, not others!!!!!

Don't be confused. It sounds like you have too many opinions swimming around. I'm sure you don't look bad. You don't want to fall victim to this latest swarm of anorexic body image. The most important thing is that you are healthy. You may want to check the sources of the comments you've been getting, as well. You should surround yourself with people who really love you and don't want to put you into that cookie cutter, "skinny is ideal" junk. If I really cared about you, I'd find something good to say about you, and if I reached for something bad it would be out of concern, not criticism.

For females, statistically you are about 20 pounds too light. Figure 20 pounds for every foot of height up to 5 feet. Then 5 pounds per inch there after and you can get a fairly good idea of a healthy weight for yourself. 10 pounds either way is still ok. so at 5 feet ten you come up with 150 pounds.

That weight should be fine for you height, but muscle weighs more than fat so without seeing you it is difficult to make a general judgment. What you might need to do is simply exercise and tone your muscles. Just start exercising and you can't go wrong. It will help your self esteem.
