The chargers have shown they have the best Defense at least as good as the Bears and Ravens.

Its still to early to tell. They have played the Raiders and Titans. Not exactly offensive powerhouses.

For everyone saying the Chargers have played bad teams. Guess what? All three of these teams have only played bad teams. I mean defending Chicago and Baltimore because they have played Green Bay and Tampa Bay just makes you sound crazy. Green Bay and Tampa Bay are every bit as bad as the terrible Titans. And the Chargers were better against the Raiders than the Ravens were. Try watching the games and you'll see the Chargers have the most dominant defense in the league right now. Also the Chargers have a top notch offense to go with their defense, not a "much improved" offense like the Bears and Ravens. "Much improved", yes, but then again, it's easy to improve on crap. The Bears are the best in the NFC, but the Chargers are the best in the AFC.

Oh, and for sparkyplasma, you picked Tampa Bay for the super bowl? Good god, what the hell were you thinking? They've scored 3 points so far in 2 games!! Worst offense in the league.

No the Ravens D is better than the Chargers. The Chargers are a better all-around team than the Ravens though.

I hate to say it but saying the chargers have the best defense at the level of the Bears and Ravens makes you an idiot.

The Chargers have played the Raiders and the Titans.

Come on guys! He didn't say "better",

He asked if they "at least as good".

And the Chargers are. More importantly, the secondary is much improved. They have matured and, with the pickup of Marlon McCree during the offseason, they are feeding off his poise and experience.

It will help the Chargers to have a "bye" week. Normally, I wouldn't say that, considering they are on a roll. But they will have time to study game films and then, watch Baltimore next week live.

And, though Baltimore has improved its offense, they are NOT BETTER offensively than San Diego, which will definitely test the Ravens' defense, as well.

The Chargers defense have been playing teams with shaky offenses, so you can't really say that until they get back from bye week and play teams that are more stable, like the Ravens in week 4.

It is really irrelevant anyway. The Chargers are coached by Marty Schottenheimer, the Ravens by Brian Billick. Cream rises, Sh*it sinks.

The Chargers will either collapse along the way, lose two or three key games, or go one and out in the playoffs, Marty has NEVER managed anything else.

The Ravens, if they stay healthy, will be real contenders and a REAL team is going to have to take them out (if they get taken out....)
