0 = 50m/s - a*5
a*5 = 50
a = 10m/s²

Pretty straightforward, actually. And it's deceleration, not acceleration ☺

Standard measurement for a travelling vehicle is miles or kilometer per hour. Are you sure your vehicle is travelling miles per second?? (you are the 2nd person who gave the same "given" s(second)
