If you can wait a while, there is a procedure that heats the cartilage until it is moldable. The doctor doesn't have to put you to sleep, they use a local, and heat it up, shape it to correct a malformation, and you are out of the office and feeling fine the next day. The conventional way is much more expensive, healing takes a lot longer, and there is only like a 50% chance it will fix the problem. And, like 80% will close up again if it is to correct a breathing problem. Cost is about $5,000.00. There is a doctor in Colorado doing the heat thing, but it will soon be everywhere, because it is so much better. You can do a search on rhynoplasty and find out about this new technique.
