If you are dead set on going, get up early that morning and get ready. That way you can go to class and take off to head home immediately after. As big of a deal as this game may be, your college education should be the biggest deal right now. So what if you are a few minutes late to the game? At least you will make it there for most of it and...... won't miss class. Not to mention you can't get into trouble for being late to a football game, but you can get into major trouble for missing class and who knows you may really need that time off for an illness or something else unavoidable later. In my opinion you will feel better about it all too, if you just plan to get up a little earlier and do what you need to do so that you can go to class and the game. ;)

Depends on why you are in college. Reread what you wrote.
a( Nothing about the class or its importance. 11:30 plus 6 comes out 5:30 by me. The dance may start at 7, but will probably last till 10ish. You are in the academic juice already - college just started - which suggests a need to learn discipline and priorities.
b( You don't mention costs of the drive.
c( Those same friends/boyfriends will be their in 2 months over thanksgiving.
d) boyfriend can drive to you and you would have just as much if not more time together.
Are you college material - not with this skip.

Even you may do the same, while sitting in Browsing and wasting the time. Education to human only at young and tender age. You can get fund in get together. But if you miss the class , the entire people may get fun on you. be careful.

Don't skip class (probably not what you want to hear), but thing of the bigger picture - one homecoming vs. being kicked out of college and potentially stuffing up your future career.

College is more important than any highschool football game. If this is a hard thing to decide for you, then perhaps you are not mature enough to be in college.

skip it and enjoy the game...just make sure you dont miss anymore. If you attend your class, you wont be able to concentrate because your moind will be at the game.
