mine is late because i am really worried and stressed out. the more worry you have the later it will come. do not panic if it did not come after 1 or 2 or 3 weeks. some people have gone with their periods later for 3 -5 weeks. just relax.

Periods can be knocked off-kilter by seemingly simple things, such as stress, having a cold or even travelling. It's also possible that the tests you're using aren't sensitive enough to catch pregnancy this early. I say take care of yourself, avoid drugs/alcohol for the next few days, and try again with another test in a week or so. If you're not pregnant, and your symptoms don't go away, consult a doctor.

Do you find that your a bit sluggish in the morning or your hair is falling out more than normal? If so, also look into with your gynocologist about your thyroid. Overtime, and this is totally normal, many women experience that their thyroid doesn't work as good as it used to. Look into hypothyroid on webmd.com and see if any those symptoms pertain to you as well. If so, the thyroid can be tested and it can be solved with medicine that you will need to take everyday.

If not, also stress affects your cycle.

You are 4 days late and don't know why. You need to go see your gynecologist asap. Home pregnancy test don't always pick up the fact that you are pregnant. Your gynecologist will do a urine test to see if your are pregnant. But all these problems you are having are pregnancy symptoms.

yeh, you're probably pregnant but its too early for the test to show positive. Wait a week or 2 then retest.
