Maybe because Crocs are hot right now. A lot of celebs wear crocs nowdays. Most people say that it feels comfortable when you're wearing it. I personally agree with and crocs should be worn in the beach/boat. It doesn't look good if you wear something a bit formal and wear those rubber sandals. It ruins the whole outfit. Flip flops are better than those rubber sandals.

Well kids are kids and their feet grow so fast it is hard to keep kids in shoes that fit. It is hard to have enough shoes for them. It is just important to have good shoes for them. Personally I would keep a kid in hard leather shoes like I was as a kid. I wear crocs, but I am not sure it is okay for a kid. I match everything and wear my crocs with style. I match my pajamas I cannot stand not to match everything. I have to have everything match all the time. I do not think people dress their kids correctly much anymore. I used to wear dresses to every party now it is lucky if people put a jacket on their kids sometimes they are so neglected. It sucks.

She's, as you say, a "little girl". They don't care about fashion or if it goes with the outfit. The parents aren't going to fight her on shoe choice because than they'll probably have a crying whining little girl who isn't happy. As for Crocs, they can match, and then they don't have to. They aren't gucci shoes that are supposed to be understated. They are made to be loud, and bright, and fun, not understated and fashionable.

I totally understand what you are talking about. With a child though, she may have refused to wear any other shoes, and sometimes you have to pick your battles. I bought a pair of those, and the cheap copies, as I just wear them to garden in and do not wear them as a fashion statement. This is the same fashion statement when people wear the Adidas type sandals to weddings and funerals and just everywhere. Ekk...when will it stop. It could be worse, they could all be barefoot....Have a good night.

Maybe because they paid so much for the croc shoes. Now they can't afford shoes for everyday wear.

Maybe because they think croc sandals are "in" right now, therefore you can never mismatch it with anything because it is "in". I think those sandals are ugly too.

I agree! If you're working in the garden, great. Cleaning your house, great. Swabbing a boat deck, great.
If you're out running errands, going to the mall, going to a party, going to church, or going anywhere where people will actually see you, change shoes!

Some people will wear anything in the name of fashion or popularity because it is "IN".

Honestly I don't understand how anyone can wear those. They are the most ugly, unstylish pieces of junk ever! They look childish too.

They're really comfortable, but I agree some of the colors are outlandish! I only have one pair and they're black.
