My roomate is black i am white. I do not think im racist. We live in a community with a lot of somalians. Most collect welfare and things like that. They dress with their pants hanging past their a$$. They stroll around like they are tough. It really bothers me. i just think to myself. Those damn ni**ers ruining our community. By me thinking that way does that make me racist?????? My roomate is black, he is cool. I would never call him a ni**er. Only because he does not act like that. I do not like wiggers either.

Thinking that people walking around your neighborhood with thier pants low actin tough is a bad thing does not make you racist. Describing them as Ni**ers does. Drop the word from your vocab, and open your mind to the idea that some of them (the somolians in your nieghborhood) are really good people. U may find that some of them simply have a different style than you. U may also find that some are jerks, but it's pretty damn easy to find a white jerk, too.

Being a racist is when you put a group of people together based on their color, sexuality, religion etc. Just because you tolerate people because they act the way you want them to does not mean that you are not a racist. I feel from what you have written in your paragraph that, yes, you are a racist. I'm sorry if this offends you but, I have a grandaughter who is of a mixed race and I would not want to hear comments like that about her. Judge people by who they are, not what they wear or what color they are. You will find that life is a happier place when you do.

I don't believe your racists, I feel the same way, I look at people who prefer to live off of welfare as lazy unless they have a damn good reason for not working. For me it doesn't matter about the skin color, but how they contribute to the community.

Once you stop thinking of people as black or white etc. and start seeing them as individuals, you can say you're not a racist. If you don't like some people's attitudes or actions, that's fine, that alone doesn't make you a racist, but it seems to me like you connect it with race too much. Try thinking of people as just that... people!

You are not racist because you don't like the way they dress or because they act tough. Racist is hating the WHOLE race...

Blackfirefly, glad you edited your answer. He didn't say he wanted you to go somewhere..

you are just stereotyping, that is typical of most , this is not what I think, it is a fact. It does not mean that you are racist, anyhow who gives a hoot, we are not going anywhere!! What does welfare have to do with clothes, not a gd thing

If you don't like someone because you look at them and see something that is racist. You don't know them...you don't know by looking at someone that they collect welfare.
