No... There are people that still use the sword and all Samurai stufff, but unofficaly other then the title samurai there permuch gone. Anyone calling themselfs a samurai just knowns how to uses the style, and known the history. There not really anything like what the Samurai of the past were.

Samurai do not exist today but men with samurai spirits do exist not only in Japan but also in other countries. You can find this kind of man in the world of martial arts.

the Samurai class was abolished shortly after the Japanese army started using firearms, if anyone exists today that calls themselves samurai that do so illegally.
however as with the Ninja villages i am sure that some remote samurai village may yet survive and teach the ways of Bushido

Unfortunately, I doubt it. There maybe people who still follow philosophies and practices of Bushido and Samurai, but I doubt you're going to find a full fledged samurai.

There might be people that practice Samurai philosophies, but I doubt there are people in topknots carrying around swords in modern-day Japan. Plus, I think the old law that you can't carry swords in public still stands.
