I have a nerve disorder called Trigeminal Neuralgia. It is possibly the most painful disorder known to medical practice. It causes shock-like pain in one or several areas of the face. Mine was on the entire left side of my face: forehead, eye, nose, teeth, and jaw. I also had the atypical form which caused the pain to be almost continuous instead of in short intervals. I had surgery last year where they cut a hole in my skull to try to correct the nerve damage. I woke up in more pain than I could ever imagine.

Physically...I had a scare with possibly having Leukemia a few years back. I had to get a bone marrow biopsy. THAT was the worst physical pain you can imagine!! Mentally...As someone responded earlier, Chronic depression has to be right up there toward the top; I had that also. Survived it all. No Leukemia!!
