I agree, If only every single person dedicated some time to help another human being there wouldn't be children dying. It's just depressing to see how we can be so selfish and self centered. We hear of children dying of hunger every day, but can you really imagine what that is like? no I didn't think so. We had always had something to eat, clothes to wear, clean water and education.
What is wrong with these people?
BTW thanks for bringing this up .

For 20,000,000 i could purchase a huge piece of land and build adequate housing besides as grant nutrition and training for a minimum of various thousand homeless families . in particular because of the fact the community could additionally help in one in each of those undertaking besides . no longer the cheap @ssed church homes right here they only line their wallet however the reliable people right here could help all they might . I take place to stay in southern Ca so the valuables may be the huge value . I see 3 scumbag bigots who care greater approximately issues that are none of their employer than actual helping people in choose . If that's what christianity teaches i'm somewhat happy I never replaced into brainwashed into that dislike filled cult .

This woman and her husband are extremely successful in the field of technology, and they have also done much in the way of providing jobs in their community. If we start to harp on the subject of self indulgence and excess, I suggest we start in Hollywood, with some of our so called, "stars", and the money they spend. Or the ridiculous amounts of money spent on making just one film. To me, that's a real waste.

Sure it's a waste, but you don't get to decide since it is not your money. When you make 20 million you can save everyone you want.

If you had several BILLION dollars, I can't imagine you'd give all of it to charity.
Space flight is an important step for us, and that money goes toward advancing our race. I'd rather see it spent on space flight than war. Pick your battles.

while this may be hard to believe, people dying of starvation is more of a political problem than money.
