Even though girls are expected to like chatting on the phone, I can't stand it. I'd much rather talk in person. Does that make me weird? haha.

I'd much rather have dinner and talk, b/c you can see facial expressions and if there are moments of silence, it's not as weird as when you're on the phone.

I am so with you on that one!!

I used to have a job where I would handle 100+ phone calls a day. When I got home the absolute last thing I wanted to do was talk on the phone to anybody for any reason.

I screen all my incoming calls and if I don't feel like talking, I don't pick up the phone, plain and simple. My true friends know that and have no problem leaving me a message - or sending me an e-mail.

I do have a cell phone, too. I use it mostly for my daughter to get a hold of me in case of emergencies. I set it on vibrate and answer only when it is her. She knows only to call if it is really urgent. Other than that, my cell phone is for use if I have some sort of car trouble or something so I can contact someone else - like a wrecker.

I HATE it when people call just to chit-chat. Go Away!!!!! You are invading my privacy!!!!!!

I hate it too. I hate when I miss a call and it's a freind saying, "hey how is it going? I guess your busy, well give me a call later then, just seeing what youve been up too." I'm sorry, but I work, i don't want to have to pick up the phone and give you a verbal journal entry of my day, or think outloud with you about what I did last week, or since I last saw you. I sound synical, but I am not sitting on the phone chatting. If you wanna talk to me, meet me for dinner or lunch.

I've always hated the phone and one of my aunts does also. Don't know what it is, but I roll my eyes every time the darn thing rings, and I might be the last person on the planet who does not have a cell phone.

Yes - especially when you have been on the phone all day at work. The last thing I feel like doing is coming home and hopping back on the phone.

Talking on the phone hurts my ear sometimes. I do like to talk in person because you get to really feel what's going on.

Well, I personally think that unless you're free and don't have any stesses on your mind, it's a nuisance to yourself talking in the phone for hours. Face to fae conversations are more preffered.

No, I don't think you're weird. I'm uncomfortable on phones. It's like being put on the spot, I never know what to say.
