Try and put it in your washer with no water to see how it fits. If you have to really stuff it in there, it will not wash well and might tear. If it doesn't fit, take it to the laundromat (yuck I know) and use a big machine.

If the sleeping bag says washable and your machine is heavy duty then I'd think yes. Try putting it in the washer before adding water, if you have to cram it in there then your machine isn't big enough. If so you can take it to a Laundromat or sent it to a dry cleaner which will be expensive.

The sleeping bag should have a tag on it that tells you cleaning instructions. If it is filled with down, then you cannot wash it. Otherwise, yes, you can wash a sleeping bag. I have one that I wash just the same as my comforter from my bed. Just make sure to zip it up when drying because the zipper will beat the heck out of your dryer.

only if it is empty . . no, seriously, washing instructions should be sewed inside the bag itself. If not or if unreadable, I don;t think I;d take a chance with an expensive sleeping bag. Less expensive, take a chance. Avoid the dryer though. Dryers and heat play hell on nylon zippers.

if there is a tag and it states that is IS washable...then go for it....make sure your washer can handle it...you may want to take it to the laundry mat and stress their machine instead!.....i do not think i would put it in the dryer though...rather line dry it.......but if it is down-filled...i recommend you putting an old tennis shoe inside a clean sock and throwing it into the dryer with it (ON AIR ONLY)...this will poof it back up!(again beat up a laundry mats dryer instead of your own!!)...good luck!

It should have a tag on the inside see if it says machine washable or has to be dry cleaned. Most sleeping bags are machine washable but there are some that are not.

Stick it in your washer and see if there is room for the water and agitater to do the job. If it is a tight fit, I would take it to the laundromat and use their giant washer.

wash your sleeping bag on the light setting and only use liquid soap, powder tends to leave clomps inside, and use delicate setting for drying, it keeps the puff in the sleeping bag, and keep drying the bag until it is completly dry.

Take it to a laundry mat that has a front loader. Wash in cool water and dry in cool dryer.

If it is average size and the laundry set is large capacity, you will do fine. I used to take mine to a laundrymat for the bigger dryers.
