Freedom of time. Its REALLY hard to get started, generally there's a lot more work than involved than having a wage slave job, but if you can hang in there the first couple years the freedom is worth it.
You get your own schedule, which even on 80 hour work weeks is healthier I'm an 11AM to 3AM person myself. We'll work nonstop then take an entire month off.
You can pick who you work and do business with, the dress code can't be beat, and depending what you're doing you can travel in the meantime.
You can expand the business once you get going. I don;t have much of an interest in doing this, as I think time is more valuable than money, generally. Income-wise the sky is the limit if you're motivated. Or you can make enough to get by and take the rest of the time off. Completely up to you.

Setting your own hours, taking time off when you need it, no boss to answer to, increased potential of making more money, you see the fruits of your own hard work, the freedom to be as creative as you wish....shall I keep going? :)
