Does wellbutrin300xl cause you to have a hot head? like a hot flash only it never goes awaymy head feels like?

feels like my head is in a furnace. I cannot be outside doing any yard work the heat starts up in my head only.I have to get ice packs and put on my head and red face and sit under fan takes several hours of this to get cool my face is flushed but cool to touch. all my blood work came back ok but blood pressure is up and down ever since wellbutrin how hard is it to get off this wellbutrin if this is the cause. anyone else had this? ps it is not menopause

I have all the papers about side effects that com with meds also looked on line.no help went to er room last nite waited 4 hrs never got to see dr. to busy came home

As with all medications, you may experience side effects when you take WELLBUTRIN XL. Side effects may be more common shortly after you start treatment. The most common side effects with WELLBUTRIN XL are weight loss, loss of appetite, dry mouth, skin rash, sweating, ringing in the ears, shakiness, stomach pain, agitation, anxiety, dizziness, trouble sleeping, muscle pain, nausea, fast heartbeat, sore throat, and urinating more often.

Seizures may occur (studies showed an incidence of 1/1000 - 4/1000). The chances of having seizures increases with higher doses. Taking more than 450 mg/day increases the chance of serious side effects. If you have nausea, take WELLBUTRIN XL with food. If you have trouble sleeping, remember to take WELLBUTRIN XL in the morning. Do not change your dose or stop taking WELLBUTRIN XL without talking to your doctor.

I have had that symptom from wellbutrin myself, so yeah, I would think that is the cause. Try researching the med to see if that is a side effect
