Use email instead of paper memos.
In the classroom I try to make the pages smaller and then put 2 pages on 1 and I copy everything back to back. That saves a lot of paper.
If I have extra photocopies I put them in a spot in my classroom and the kids can use them as scrap paper. That way if we are just practicing in class and they do not have to hand it in this paper is not wasted.
Then, after we use up the scrap paper we recycle it.

Get a white board where you can do all the ocmputations without wasting paper. Use paper only for important items. Also make use of your PC as much. Typing in the PC takes more time than writing in the notebook, so there are trade offs. I use both at my work. I take notebooks to short meetings, becuase it is faster to take quick notes because you can shorthand which you can understand.

I use online banking, email, and don't print out hard copies of stuff unless there is a good reason to. And I don't take the newspaper. I read online news and watch the cable channels, and listen to the radio.

Print on both sides of a piece of paper when you have to give handouts and put as much information as possible on each side.
