If you forgot your password, log in with your userID. Just below you will see a link for "forgot password." After identifying yourself and possibly answering your secret question, you will be given the opportunity to set a new password.

I don't think Yahoo is able to lose passwords, only the creator of the password can lose it. So, I don't think there is any way for you to get it back unless you figure it out yourself.

Call up your ISP and tell them you've lost your password. When you registered, you were asked a question like, 'What's your mother's maiden name?' or something like that. You were supposed to select the type of question that you wanted and provide the answer when you registered your account.

When you call up your ISP, you will be asked that question. Answer correctly, otherwise they'll think you're someone else who's trying to get your password under false pretense.
