My wife and I are both 35 and she is due to give birth in four weeks. We have a 12 and 9 year old already and we are all very excited about having another child. If you both want another child, what's stopping you? They just add more joy to the family. As a matter of fact we are thinking about trying to have another one after the youngest is a year and a half.

Do both you and your husband want a child together? You certainly are young enough to have another baby. I had a baby when I was 35 years old and had two boys aged eleven and thirteen. She is the absolute joy of my life!

Assuming your health is okay and husband agrees - go for it. The arithmatic is all there. My parents did the baby schtick when I was 12. I was out of HS by the time the sis had a personality I could relate to. Be careful about using 13 year old sis for babysitting.

I had a baby at 32 he is now 3 and i love every minute of it. As long as you can keep up with them and love and take care of them then nothing is wrong with it. I also have a 15,13,and 11 yr old they are a really big help.

Why not? Its a personal choice to be made between you and your husband, not forgetting the input from your 13-year old of course. On the medical side, check with your gynae if you have any concerns.

If you have a happy family, yes! I'll mention also that if your 13 year old is an only child, it would be good for her to have a sister or brother throughout her life (even if quite a few years younger).

If you want one, go for it! you are certainly not at a bad age for it. You're daughter will have some adjusting to do and might be angry for a while, but that's part of growing up and all kids go through it. good luck deciding
