If it was a guy you did not know, it is weird. If you are well-built, and considered good looking, he might be interested in you. If you have a rather large bulge, that may be interesting him also. Since the only way you can compare size is to have erections, then that would certainly not be an appropriate place to make comparisons, if other guys are coming in as well.
Good call on your part. Playing around and comparing sizes with your buddies is normal part of growing up, but even then you don't do that in the locker room unless all of the guys are in on the game.

I'm a girl, so I definitely know what it's like to b a bit self-conscious and nervous to change in front of others. I can definitely see from your point of view as well! We had a very similar program at my school and I was really nervous about the other girls staring at me, inspecting my body. But really, don't worry- they are all changing too and are mainly too preoccupied with their own affairs to be inspecting your body for imperfections. We're all human and we all have bodily imperfections, and I'm sure the other kids are just as nervous. I would say to keep your boxers on but change everything else, like shirt and pants. Just bring a stick of deodorant and you'll be A-Okay! Really, don't be nervous. I've been in those shoes before, but you get used to it after the first few days of class. It's not too bad, and nobody should be looking at you. Don't feel self-conscious, I'm sure it'll all be okay :)

Sometimes guys do stupid stuff like compare size, but usually among friends. Nothing gay about it.
Some 'random' kid asking to see your penis seems a little too weird

I had some of the supposedly "bigger" boys in the years above mine want to compare with me when I was at school. I did, and they were all quite a bit smaller than me, which I obviously enjoyed. I don't think they or myself were acting gay, just curious. Are you big? Could that be why he wants to compare - maybe to see how close he is to the biggest?

Honey...it's not homosexuality, it's human nature to be curious. The only problem here is that this person just came out and asked rather than just wonder to himself. There is a lot of insecurity among young men about the size of their penis. I'd not worry too much.

It's not gay to do that but was not very smart of him to do so. Males are always comparing, but they usually don't ask someone's permission, especially in a locker room. You did the right thing.

I doubt he is gay. Its a little bit of a weird question... but young guys do like to figure out how big they are compared to each other. Let it slide, but if he keeps bugging you say something to your teacher and just tell your teacher to keep it anonymous.

Not necessarily gay. When one is young, always tries to compare size with peers. Nothing to worry about unless he wants to touch it. lol

It's normal for kids to want to know if they measure up, so to speak. You did right by turning him down. He could have turned you in for improper conduct.
