Men think problem=solution, problem=solution and woman think problem=what if I do this or that and what if this goes wrong or what if I say this and that happens and we think in circles until we have the solution. Men just think 1-2 that's it and sex solves everything for them too....lol

Actually in my house this is the opposite. I can sleep through anything and if I get really upset I sleep better. My boyfriend on the other hand can rarely sleep well at all and if anything is bothering him he is up all night. Weird right? Sometimes I feel bad being able to sleep through everything when he wakes up exhausted in the am....maybe those guys feel bad if they do that. Probably not, guys don't think like us.

I think it is to do with the type of person you are, whether you are a 'worrier' or not. I remember when my Grandpa went into hosipital I couldn't sleep a wink, but my sister didn't have a problem getting to sleep. Generally though, I think there are more 'worrier' women than men.

well, i dont know about all men,

but what does worry accomplish other than to raise your blood pressure?

i can sleep durring a crisis situation if it is clear that there is simply nothing that i can to to stop the crisis.

i still worry, but i cannot see the point of adding high blood pressure and sleep deprivation to the crisis, i might have to drive somewhere tomorrow, how would it help if i fell asleep at the wheel and killed myself on top of whatever other crisis is going on.

I wouldn't generalize. I'm the worrier who can't sleep and my wife sleeps through stressful times.

I don't like the phrase 'sleeping like a baby.' Have you had a baby? My first one didn't 'sleep' through the night for 15 months. That's not very soundly.
