Steve Irwins death was not tragic. Tragic would be if he were hit by a bus crossing the street. His death was the result of his cavalier attitude regarding the handling of dangerous animals.

All valid points.
Steve had a cavalier attitude but was a lovable larrikin.
It is very sad for his family that he was killed by a stingray.
But I think he would have rather passed like that than grown old!
He had alot of guts but deemed a bit doughy.
There is a bit of Steve in all of us.
RIP Steve Irwin

I love him too, and i'm soooo sad that this happened, and i' mso angry for all the bad comments that some people do about him, saying that it was his fault, because he took risks with animals, that was part of who he was, there's plenty of people who do stupid things and risk their lives, but he was passionate about animals and wanted to show us the beauty in all of them

He was quite a likeable guy. I bet if he was an
American, he'd be a Republican.

The world shares his family's grief. He'll be greatly missed, but it is my hope that he will be greeted at Heaven's door by all the animals, who will know him, and make him welcome.
