try your local community college or even online courses! they arent that long or expensive!! Good luck to you!

Our local high schools have courses in the afternoon and evening for adults. I would try for this as opposed to an online course. It is nice to be able to go to a human being for assistance.

Also, there are many great books to be had. I have saved a lot by going to www.amazon.com and checking out used books. I have gotten $30 books for $2-$5 + shipping. So far, all the books I have received look like new or have a fold in the cover. Very minor things.

There are also teaching CDs available which you can run repeatedly in the comfort of your home. An example:
