Jason Campbell should start next week. He's supposedly the future, so I say we give him a chance to start, even if he's currently our third-string QB.

Not yet. The season is still salvagable. Let Portis get healthy and let the team digest Al Saunders' playbook. If they have not put together some knid consistency then replace him. Doing it now would not only cause controversey in the media, but Gibbs would chance losing his team. Gibbs has always relied on veteran players during his coaching career, ask Jay Schroeder. My biggest question in the off season was why hire Al Saunders anyway? That put a lot of strain on the offense to try and learn a complicated system after they were getting accustomed to the Gibbs' style. Sure they could not find the other side of the field in the playoffs, but at least that system got them to the playoffs.

I was shocked when they signed Brunell for the starting job. He's old, his arm is shot and his mobility has gone way down. It's time for the future.

Brunell isn't the problem. Gibbs is a has-been and needs to call it a career. The game has passed him by. I personally am enjoying the hell out of it, but it must be like us watching Landry in the late 80's. We all knew it was time for him to go, but our hearts wanted him to stay.
