Can anyone provide me with cost of living comparisons from 1960 to 2006. Home,groceries,utilities,gas,cars...?

I'm trying to show that the wage increase since the 1960's has not kept up with cost of living increases.

Search for the Consumer Price Index.. they will have information regarding the pruchase prices of everday items form different years.. gas.. bread.. milk.. stuff like that..
