Why won't my webcam work on MSN anymore?

Up until a week ago my webcam has been working fine. Now all of a sudden it will work ok until i log on to do a video chat on msn messenger. when it connects, the video freezes completely. my internet runs fine otherwise and i have it plugged in to a USB 2.0. Does anybody know why this is happening? (My camera is a Microsoft Lifecam if it makes any difference).

Try uninstalling the software then reinstalling. Or update any drivers online
