There's a great clinic downtown called SpaMedica that u can check out if u want to. They have a couple of different options about removing freckles or sun spots including laser. I haven't had that done but I have had laser hair removel done there and I loved it. Another option is a skin care line called Obagi which they have at spamedica too. It peels away top layers of dead skin and lightens freckles and dark pigmentation spots. Their website is www.spamedica.com. Hope that helps :-)

i personally have not had freckles removed since i don't have any but a friend of mine had a mole removed. she said it was painful & ended up with a white lump on the spot for about a month. i thought it was a protective cream they gave her but found out it was the result of the removal. now the spot where the mole was is darker than her skin, kind of like a scar.
i would suggest to do all the research you can before deciding. also, look up all the specialist that will perform it in your area. don't go for the cheap ones, it will cost more at the end. invest in it since it will be a life changing decision.
