It's only the people who feel they need some justification for invading Iraq, against the advice of most of our allies.
No WMDs? Hey look over there! Those guys should have been there to share the blame! You're either for us or against us!

I can't speak for the rest of the country but only for myself. I buy no French made goods and bad mouth the capital of Euro-weenieville every chance I get.
#1. The French supply arms to our enemies and subverted the oil for food program. If the French, Germans, and Russians had helped to enforce the sanctions on Iraq instead of undermining them, maybe war could have been avoided. The blood of all of our soldiers and all the Iragis is on their hands. GW Bush is concealing documents under the pretense of national security, that illustrate how far the French went to support Saddam.
#2. We share no common values with the French. They do not believe in the rule of law but instead promote a socialist Europe under their rule.
#3. When we attacked Libyia after the Lockerby crash, and the bombing of a disco in Germany were traced back to the Libyian government the French refused to allow our planes to use their air space. ( Allies, please, give me a break) We shouldn't have wasted the bombs on Libyia and dropped them on Paris.
# 4. The French are as we speak delaying action against Iran and supporting their attempt to obtain nuclear weapons. They were selling the technology to Saddam and are no doubt selling it to the Iranians.
#5. We are at war with terrorist, which includes those who harbor and support terrorist. And that's the French. If our congress had one once of guts they'd declare War on France today. We could send the Rhode Island national guard over on a cruise liner and the French would surrender before they landed.
Just look at what they did in Lebanon. They suckered us and the Iraelis to stop short of wiping out Hezbolla by promising to send troops then they send what 600. They are a blow hard nation that's ready to obstruct and work against us even when it is not in their own interest.
We should bomb them back to the middle ages.

when we asked them to stand with us, they couldn't because they were in fact on Saddam payroll as was the United Nations and Russia. France has bigger problems with Muslims that we do, and they are about to get bigger, with Al Queda joining Algiers to fight against french troops.

Because they are weak. We ask them for help after 9/11 and we got nothing. Why? Because they were breaking international laws and knew they were going to get caught. They placate the Muslims in their country. They will be over run by them someday and they will deserve it. If you think our government is crooked take a look at them!
