"A night out on the town" depends on what you like... Dancing? Clubbing? Movies?
Best food (my fave at least) is actually just a tad south on route 4 in Tyngsboro (maybe a mile or two past the Nashua line) at Carabbas, which will be on the right coming from Nashua.

I haven't been to a whole lot of Nashua clubs, but my friends and I did have a few good nights at "Scorz Bar Bands & Billiards" on Amherst St I think. And you're close enough to larger cities like Manchester and Lowell (and even Boston!) for the REAL night scenes. If you are new to New England (and not just new to Nashua itself) then these will certainly be worth checking out as well!

there's a tapas bar in downtown...i think it's called "manhattan on pearl" the atmosphere is nice, the food fantastic (last time i went) the service is good, but is slightly pricey...but it's a tapas bar, what would you expect?
martha's on main streat is pretty ok. also there this tiny place called the sitting room that does breakfast and lunch that is great (if its still there).
also downtown is po's noodle house. in the south end in lamplighter square is a pretty good indian restaurant that i LOVE. ok, i'll shut up now...
