so dangerous and a gateway to hell, then why do they sell them at board game stores?

Because they're not dangerous gateways to hell, lol. People have used ouija boards thousands of times by now, with no reported Chthulu sightings. On the other hand, we heard about it right away when 10 people got sick eating bagged spinach....

I find it funny, actually, how afraid everyone is of ouija boards. Someone always knows someone's brother's cousin who had a bad experience, but they've never seen the bad event themselves.

There's a girl I go ghost hunting with who is terrified of Ouija boards because they "let the dead come through and talk to us." I pointed at the EVP recorder she was holding and said, "So what? So does that. What's the difference? How creepy it looks?"

The one bad ouija board story I have is: one told me to "KILL RYAN KILL RYAN KILL RYAN" (Ryan was my boyfriend at the time) and Ryan, who was in the room, freaked out and ran away. I was like, come on! I'm not actually going to DO it, just because some stupid piece of cardboard told me to. Get real!

See how many people here will say "It's bad, don't use it" without being able to offer a reason....

Because they make the business a profit! And it's not likely anyone's going to sell them for negligence claiming that they were injured playing with the board. If someone files a suit saying "Because you sold me this defective ouija board now I have demons following me around all day," the judge is going to have a good laugh and then dismiss the case!

Why do oeople sell guns even though people get shot by mistake or deliberately every day? Guns make a profit.

So do ouija boards.

Use of something superstitious has roots in the modern Spiritualism network of things that are unknown but people for some reason believe true began in The United States in the mid-19th century. Methods of divination at that time used various ways to spell out messages, including swinging a pendulum over a plate that had letters around the edge or using an entire table to indicate letters drawn on the floor. Often used was a small wooden tablet supported on casters. This tablet, called a planchette, was affixed with a pencil that would write out messages in a fashion similar to automatic writing. These methods may predate modern Spiritualism.

Its a scam. Get it if you want, if your too afraid then don't get them . I thought the Ouija boards were so evil and dangerous, but then i figured out that nothing is as dangerous as MY LIFE. seriously

Who knows. I guess it's just what you belive in. Personally I don't think that a Ouija board is going to hurt anyone, I used them as kids. But I don't have one in my house anymore. I do have tarrot cards though.

Personally, I don't think they work. I tried using one before and it never worked one time. I even tried using it at a cemetary and it still didn't work.

Why do they sell motorcycles that do 150 mph.

It's all about money and profit.
