If you know about her drug use and something happens where someone gets injured (or killed) or something comes up missing, you can be held liable for not informing your supervisor. You're putting yourself and everyone else at risk by keeping silent. If she finds out you're the one who spoke with your supervisor, remind her of her favorite quote, "Business before friendship." Good luck!

I had a similar experience once, I chose not to say anything at first, because I didn't feel that it was my business, plus I thought if the boss didn't see this then they were not doing there own job very well........I think that like your children you spend alot of time with your co-workers- employees and you would know if your kids were on drugs you should know if your coworkers-employees are, then one day I saw this person dealing in our parking lot, and decided I needed to bring it to the attention of the boss so that they were forced to do something about it, because of the effect it could have on all of us employees. Though I must tell you that if you are hoping that this will get the person fired, I think you will be disappointed the law protects ppl with drug problems, and usually requires that they enter a drug program and they usually enter a probation period for there job where they have the opportunity to shape up or ship out. Good Luck

By all means do not rat on your fellow workers. You will never have another peacfull day if you do, besides how do you know that your boss is not doing it also? Just because someone else does it does not make rating ok.

I dont think you should tell, your boss will find out sooner or later but you dont want to be the one to do it. It may cause you alot of problems and sorry to say drug users have to take care of there family too even though some of them dont. You dont know who you are going to hurt if you do. May even be yourself.

I don't think its your business to tell on her. You could talk to her an let her know that you don't approve of the behavior, but the boss will catch on soon enough.
Just do your own job and don't worry about others so much.

sounds to me you wanna tell so do it,
but be ready to declare all out war at work cause yo girl will, if I was her.
drugs is serious on the job, but you need to take this matter to human resources first because if this chick loses her job, she will file unemployment and can also sue the employer and your name could be called in this thing too.
just be ready for everything.

Is her frug use affecting the quality of her work? If it is then yes you should tell. Is she coming to work under the influence of drugs? If she is just a casual user and doing it outside of work, I think you should leave it alone.

Give her a taste of her own medicine, but have proof of what she is doing before you tell the boss.......If you don't, you will look like the fool and she will get to keep on with her tirades.....Be smart about it dear...(Recorded conversations, photos, notes taken by yourself with date and time of the occurances)........

This is not a friend. It is some one who is using you and any one else to cover her addiction. If you let her use you, then you are even more guilty, because you knew and did nothing about it. is she worth you loosing you job
