I have discovered that my dd has written some on online journals two years ago and I googled her name and found these. I have been googling my own name etc and came upon her google. Is there a way to remove this from the internet or is it there for the world to see. Kids need to know what you write on these sites is there for people to may be harm you in your job or personal life in future.

I think that anything you put on the web is available for the public to view.

It is unfortunate that this person used your name in the journal...the bad news is no, you can't do anything about it as far as erasing it...the only person that can erase it is her or him...the author. The good news is if they ever decide to allow lawsuits for defamation of character or liable on the internet then you have yourself a case and you can sue.

I don't know my self, but you might want to try asking on the Internet section instead of the family section.
