Scientifically the answer must be yes. The soul is an energy force within you. Physics tells us that energy cannot be created or destroyed. Energy however can change form. So when you die the energy must go somewhere. Perhaps it all leaves as heat, or maybe some stays around to help fuel the decaying process, but I like to think that some form of the energy can move on, perhaps maintaining a consciousness.
That being said the reverse must also be true, and a soul should be able to be replaced. However, science hasn’t figured that out yet. And with the uproar of religious types against such experiments, science will probably never get the chance to figure it out.

At the risk of sounding callous, yes, I am afraid there are many ways, and they are used all too often. Knives, guns, bombs, poisons, motor vehicle impacts, cigarettes, etc. The problem is not separating the soul from the body. That is the easy part. The problem is getting the soul back into the body, or of repairing the body so that the soul is not forced to leave.

Yes, it is. But the tricky part is getting it back into the body. Nobody has worked that bit out yet âº

if you mean without killing, nothing I've ever heard of
some religions basically relegate souls to being quite supernatural are therefore they would not be subject to physical laws (not subject to technological manipulations)
